Yellow powder, melting point 317 ℃. It turns slightly green when heated at 150 ℃ for 20min. The density is 1.24-1.53g/cm3. It is red light detection color in concentrated sulfuric acid, and brown light red after dilution; It is brown light yellow in concentrated nitric acid. This product is better than C.I. Pigment Yellow 1 has strong solvent resistance and migration resistance, high coloring power, good light resistance and transparency.

Product Description of Pigment Yellow 12:

Pigment Yellow 12 is neutral yellow, in line with the color standard of four-color printing; high color strength, vividness and transparency (Lutetia yellow 2JRT specific surface area is 44m2/g); medium solvent resistance, showing a tendency to recrystallize; light and weather fastness Low, it is grade 3 and grade 2 at standard depths of 1/1 and 1/3, which is 1-2 grades lower than other yellow pigments (PY13,83,127,176). Pigment Yellow 12 is an organic compound and an azo compound. It is a widely used yellow pigment. It is also classified as a diarylide pigment, being derived from 3,3'-dichlorobenzidine. It is closely related to Pigment Żółty 13, wherein the two phenyl groups are replaced by 2,4-xylyl.
